Goulding Park Rangers Minor Midget 'A' wins the Founders Cup
This win was special for two reasons. First, the team was down 3 – 1, starting the third period, and had to kill off a 5 minute penalty. They netted the winning goal with about 2 minutes to go. Second, the majority of the boys and the coaching staff of Messrs. Rizzi, Freeman and MacKenzie have been together for several years now, always bringing to Goulding Park very successful seasons.
As we get to Grade 11 the boys will go in many different directions with some continuing in the GTHL, some retiring from the league and some focussing on other sports. Many thanks to the coaches who dedicated many years bringing a group of boys together who enjoyed a winning tradition and made some great friendships.

Part of our team philosophy is showing the players the importance of giving back to the community.
As part of that we had the team, and some parents, take part in the Downsview 5K Run on November 11th.

Hockey Night in Canada's Play On!

Hockey Night in Canada's Play On! celebrates the game of hockey and Canadian culture in a wholesome, festival atmosphere that makes kids feel like NHL pros and helps adults feel like kids again. Since this program's inception, over 790,000 Canadians have "taken back the streets" from coast to coast through participation in one of the sixty-eight (68) Play On! events held to date. And by the end of the summer of 2012, more than 1 million Canadians will have participated in a Play On! tournament.
Seven players from this year's Goulding Park Rangers Peewee A Kraft Champion team decided to enter Play On! that was held at Ontario Place on May 26-27, 2012. The team, representing the Goulding Park Rangers and proudly wearing their organizations t-shirts/jerseys, played in the final championship game of their 25 team division. Although they lost 4-3 in the last game, the event provided the players with the chance to manage themselves to achieve a berth in the finals, bond as a group and simply enjoy one of Canada's favourite pasttimes!

About Us...
The Goulding Park Rangers AA and A Divisions are the competitive divisions of the Goulding Park Hockey Association (as is the North York Rangers even though they have been required to become separately incorporated).
Together we celebrated our 50th Anniversary with the start of the 2007-2008 season. The Association started in 1957 and became incorporated March 3, 1964.
We are incorporated as a community based not for profit association. There are no employees only volunteers and between the Goulding Park Rangers and North York Rangers we volunteered over 43,000 hours during the 2007-2008 season.
With the movement to the North York Rangers AAA division in 1995, we started to phase out Single A Teams. This year we are proud to once again introduce the single A division with a team at the Atom age group. We are hopeful of their success and look to grow this division in the coming years.
Every year we have 9 teams in the AA division; Minor Atom (our Goulding Novice Select team has always been a great resource for players at this level), Atom, Minor Peewee, Peewee, Minor Bantam, Bantam, Minor Midget, Midget and Under 21 AAA (It should be noted the Juvenile Division has been renamed to Under 21 AAA). We have won more Carnation Cups (League Champions) at the Juvenile level than any other team in the GTHL. The Under 21 AAA team is also a great resource for players and affiliate players for our North York Rangers Jr A team.
We are very proud of being a part of the Goulding Park Hockey Association. Every year we have players from House League and Select tryout successfully for our division successfully. Jerray Wilson is a notable success moving quickly from our Select program to our AA division then to our AAA division. We welcome them.
